2-Day Couples Therapy Crash Course

This workshop is designed for clinicians who want a step-by-step framework for start-to-finish couples therapy. It covers how to manage common relationship challenges such as conflict, mental health diagnoses that affect relationships, infidelity, divorce, high-conflict dynamics, and differences around money, parenting, values, and communication. The course also addresses pre-therapy considerations such as payment, insurance, and office setup, along with strategies for premarital counseling, remarriage, and working with diverse partnerships including same-sex relationships and polygamy. Instructional methods include PowerPoint, didactic lecture, Q&A, and other teaching formats. The training is led by Dr. Jill Squyres Groubert and is intended to strengthen practical skills and confidence in couples therapy. Participants who attend in full and complete the required post-test and evaluation may print a certificate of completion.
