The Alma Institute Facilitator Training Program is designed to provide the training required to become a licensed psilocybin facilitator under Oregon state law. It covers client screening and intake, preparation sessions, psilocybin administration sessions, integration and follow-up care, and appropriate referrals. The program is intended for professional learners preparing for Oregon psilocybin facilitator licensure. Alma Institute is an Oregon-based nonprofit training program founded by Rebecca Martinez to strengthen and diversify the network of licensed psilocybin facilitators by centering people from marginalized and low-income communities. One of only two nonprofits approved to provide OHA psilocybin facilitator training in Oregon, Alma integrates trauma-informed, culturally responsive pedagogy with the full Oregon Psilocybin Services licensing curriculum.
