Course Overview

DMT Support Specialty & DMTx is an advanced specialty training focused on supporting legal, personal-use DMT sessions in Colorado. The curriculum covers guidance in DMT spaces, legal context, and harm-reduction-oriented practice. The program includes webinars, 3 weekly classes, and a 5-day intensive training retreat. Students guide twice and journey twice, and may also have the opportunity to witness a DMTx experimental journey session. This training is described as having ongoing supervision through an advanced credentialing program. It is intended for students pursuing DMT guiding experience and includes a “journeyer only” option for qualified participants.

Prerequisites

Psychedelic Mystery School is a prerequisite. A Medical Safety Review may be required if not yet completed and is an annual requirement.

About the Provider

Operating since 2012 as the training program of the Center for Medicinal Mindfulness in Boulder, Colorado, Psychedelic Sitters School trains licensed clinicians and guides-in-training in Mindfulness-Based Psychedelic Therapy® across four medicines—cannabis, ketamine, psilocybin, and DMT—through in-person, hybrid, and online formats. Now in their 13th year with over 35 cohorts completed, they are one of the longest-running psychedelic guide training programs in the United States.
