Course Overview
The Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) Clinic at the California Institute of Integral Studies provides ketamine-assisted psychotherapy in a model that places psychotherapy at the center of care. The clinic describes ketamine as one part of a broader therapeutic relationship, used to support deeper psychological work when integrated with skilled psychotherapy. Services are offered to individuals, couples and partners, youth, and families across a range of backgrounds. The clinic lists support for concerns including treatment-resistant depression, major depressive disorder, PTSD, chronic anxiety disorders, suicidal ideation when outpatient treatment is appropriate, OCD, and certain grief and loss presentations. The clinic also functions as a training site for postdoctoral psychology students and presents itself as the first training clinic of its kind in San Francisco. Appointments are in person and scheduled Monday through Sunday from 10am to 8pm, with low-cost sliding-scale fees based on income and life circumstances.
Who is this for?
