Course Overview
PRATI's Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) Training Program is a comprehensive four-day course designed for mental health and medical professionals who are interested in exploring the transformative potential of psychedelic therapy. This immersive training program combines didactic presentations, experiential components, and supported ketamine experiences to provide participants with the practical skills and hands-on knowledge needed to integrate ketamine-assisted psychotherapy into their clinical practice.
Led by experienced KAP providers and supported by PRATI's expert faculty, this program provides a unique opportunity for participants to learn about the foundations of psychedelic medicine, while also gaining practical skills and hands-on experience in guiding clients through non-ordinary states of consciousness. Throughout the program, participants will learn about dosing and routes of administration, as well as best practices for the clinical care of severely depressed and suicidal individuals.
In addition to practical skills, the KAP Training Program also provides participants with a grounding in the ethics and diversity considerations related to KAP and psychedelic medicine, as well as the role of music and playlist creation in KAP, and the use of ceremony and ritual aspects to facilitate transformational experiences.
As an added benefit, the program also offers community-building and networking opportunities, allowing participants to connect with other KAP providers and experts in the field. To ensure a safe and supportive training environment, all participants are required to stay on-site at the venue throughout the duration of the course. With its unique blend of practical skills, clinical research, and supported ketamine experiences, the PRATI KAP Training Program is an essential resource for mental health and medical professionals who are interested in exploring the transformative potential of psychedelic medicine.
This course is intended for professionals and physicians who want to learn how to work with psychedelics (ketamine). The course runs multiple times per year.
