Professional Training Course Outline

This two-year professional training covers psychedelic literature, archetypal and transpersonal psychology, psychodynamic and attachment models, embodied approaches, intergenerational trauma work, clinical research, systemic perspectives, and shamanic and indigenous wisdom traditions. It follows the Institute of Psychedelic Therapy’s Depth Relational Process approach. The course is immersive and experiential, with online academic and experiential sessions, scheduled group supervision, and in-person intensive modules. Practical elements include family constellations, holotropic breathwork, legal psychedelic retreat intensives, and a requirement for personal psychotherapy. A detailed syllabus is available at the time of application. Graduates of the course are eligible to become professional members of the Institute of Psychedelic Therapy. The training is intended for practitioners seeking professional development in psychedelic assisted therapy and related depth-relational work.
