She is also a co-founder of Open Mind Collective, a nonprofit focused on clinical research of psychedelic medicines and care for underserved populations using psychedelic medicines. Her background includes work as lead therapist and study physician in Phase 2 and Phase 3 clinical trials involving 5-MeO-DMT, psilocybin, and MDMA-assisted psychotherapy. After completing psychiatric residency at Stanford in 2006, she worked in settings including UCSF Weill Institute for Neurosciences, St. Mary’s Hospital & Clinics, Stanford’s Center for Integrative Medicine, and on U.S. military bases in Italy and Germany.
