Student exchange program

The Student Exchange Program at the University of Ottawa is for students who want to study full time at one of the university’s partner institutions for one or two terms. It is designed to support academic mobility while keeping students enrolled in their uOttawa program. The program covers eligibility requirements, destination options, required documents, and the steps needed to apply. Students must complete a mandatory Exchange Information Workshop and submit a Confirmation of Eligibility form before proceeding to the online application. The exchange is open to eligible undergraduate and master’s students in selected faculties, subject to academic standing, program status, and credit requirements. Applicants also need to prepare a preliminary course selection based on their host institution and exchange type.
