Eric Vermetten, MD, PhD, is a clinical psychiatrist and professor of psychiatry at Leiden University Medical Center. His career has focused on psychotrauma, resilience, and treatment of veterans and other uniformed services, alongside recent involvement in psychedelic and ketamine-related psychiatric research. He has also worked with the Dutch Ministry of Defense and ARQ National Psychotrauma Center, and has training experience in the Netherlands and the United States.
