The National Council of Scientific and Technical Research (CONICET; Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas) is Argentina’s principal government agency for promoting science and technology, funding over 11,000 researchers and 10,000 doctoral students across a nationwide network of research institutes and centres.
