First-ever European Union grant to fund clinical research into psychedelic-assisted therapy. €6.5M consortium of 19 partners across 9 EU countries, coordinated by UMC Groningen (Netherlands). Investigates psilocybin therapy for psychological / existential distress in patients with COPD, MS, ALS, and atypical Parkinson's disease. Trial dosing scheduled to begin January 2025.
