The Science of Psychedelic Healing is a hybrid online course from the Chacruna Institute for Psychedelic Plant Medicines. It brings together researchers and practitioners from psychiatry, neuroscience, anthropology, and psychedelic research to examine the mechanisms, history, and therapeutic potential of psychedelic substances. The course covers topics including altered states of consciousness, psychological flexibility, pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics, drug interactions, integration practices, and therapeutic efficacy. The format includes one recorded lecture each week followed by a live 90-minute Zoom Q&A discussion with faculty.
