Community Networks & Outreach

Local collectives, harm-reduction initiatives, peer-support networks, and community events fostering safe psychedelic engagement.

Long before clinics, communities did the work: local collectives and meetups, peer-led programmes, digital networks, and outreach initiatives that educate and connect people around psychedelics. This is the largest grassroots category we track, and its centre of gravity is local (the majority of entries are city or regional groups someone can actually attend).

Community groups come and go, and a directory can only be as current as its last check. Each profile records the engagement channels, audience focus, and location, with verification dates shown so you can tell a recently confirmed group from one we have not checked lately.

Frequently asked questions

How do I find a psychedelic community group near me?

Filter this category by country, or use the local collectives group, which holds the majority of entries. Each profile lists its location and primary link. Community groups change fast; if a link is dead, the verification date on the profile tells you how recently we confirmed the group was active.

What is the difference between a peer-led programme and a community collective?

Collectives and meetups are primarily social and educational gatherings. Peer-led programmes offer something more structured: facilitated integration circles, support groups, or trained peer support. The L3 grouping on each card reflects that distinction.

Are these groups safe and legitimate?

We track and verify that organisations exist and do what they describe; we do not vet the quality or safety of individual gatherings. The usual community advice applies: attend public sessions first, and treat any group that pressures participation or payment with caution.
